Disaster in the Distance..

On Jan. 12, 2010, a massive earthquake struck Haiti. It was the worst earthquake in the region in more than 200 years. The goverment estimates that the cost of the damages could be between $7.2 billion to $13.2 billion, based on a death toll from 200,000 to 250,000. The devastation created serious obstacles to those attempting to deliver promised foreign aid. Therefor Haiti relief efforts have been established all over the world to help their fallen country in their time of need. Here at SVSU we've reached for a goal of over $10,000 in our dollars for difference drive to help towards the relief effort.

Me and my prom date (Markeela Davis) we won best couple at prom 2007.(Short Story) I have a crush on this girl since ninth grade but never said nothing.Later on in my high school career we became friends.Then we grew to like each other but we never made it official. So senior year rolls arounds I finally ask her the big question do you want to got to prom with me (she) said yes I was so excited then its almost time for prom then I called it off because she started talking to this guy I wasnt cool with. Then a week before prom she called me I still want to go with you william. So we end up going to prom and it was a the best time of my life, I wish I could relive that moment.

William C.Gray was December 22,1988 at Grace hospital at 11:57. I was 10lbs & 10oz born to Dedra & William C.Gray Jr. I had a good childhood sadly I was the only child. During my childhood I was a very good student. I was involved in a lot of activities as a kid such as singing,bowling,swimming. As I got older I went to high school and played varsity football for Frank Cody High School (positions)middle linebacker,defensive end,left Guard. also I was all state in Division 2 swimming boys division. Then shortly after that my high school career was over and I began to start my future at Saginaw Valley State university. Before i no it three years has passed buy and im almost on my way out to the door into my career in Criminal Justice.

Her name is Aris Yancey she is a sophmore at Eastern Michigan University. Aris is one of my very good friend she was a big motivator in high school. She has always been there for me whenever i needed her no matter what and good friends don't come easy.
